Where noise is not an issue, we feel that fireworks still have a place in modern public entertainment and can work well combined with a drone show. In fact, some of our best shows have included pyrotechnics from the drones themselves!

show me pyro extrasOur Technical Director Chris used part of our drone fleet and the team to set the Official Guinness World Record for 'the most emojis formed by multirotor/drones in three minutes'.
To create the record, each emoji had to be fully formed, clear and easily recognisable. This meant that the attempt required complex and clever programming to transition from shape-to-shape, both as quickly as possible, but safely.
The record also requires multiple criteria be met to be recognised as 'official', the trickiest being the use of a maximum of 130 drones, so it's not an option to put 1,000s of drones up and just rapidly turn lights on and off.
To prove the precision and capability of our system, Chris even raised the difficulty by opting to use just 100 of our show drones to increase the difficulty and did the attempt in the middle of a live show for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Chris set a new Guinness World Record by forming 30 emoji in three minutes.

If you consider what we're doing in terms of flying 1,000's of show drones at once by computer, then it certainly isn't something just anybody can do safely or legally.
However, the great news is that we are experts at this and can do all the complex elements in-house for you, so you can relax and just enjoy the results.
This is genuinely going to be a balance between your needs and your budget.
We always recommend a minimum of 100 drones for a base level show, as it allows for the basics to be done to a minimum standard. For example, a 7-8 letter word can be clearly written with just 100 drones, as well as simple logos/icons drawn.
When detail matters, or the 'wow factor' is desired, we recommend a base show of 200-500 drones. This now allows for small sentences to be written, as well as full logos or even complicated 3D shapes to be formed. 200+ also allows for multiple elements to be formed at once, allowing for a far more immersive level of storytelling from the show.
As working out what you need can be confusing, we offer a free consultation to help establish your needs, so that we can provide you with the most cost effective quotation.
This ensures you only pay for the number of drones you need.
Each example has been placed from the same view perspective, so you can see how more drones not only adds more detail, but more scale too...
100 drones are enough to make recognisable icon style shapes or simple 3D renders.
100 is also enough to write basic words and replicate simple logos or icons; hence we recommend it as our minimum starting point.
200 - 300 drones allow for more detailed 3D shapes, as well as enabling more animation options.
This level also allows for multiple simple elements to be created at once, creating a great balance of creative detail vs budget.
Once at 500+ drones, a single shape can be truly mind blowing in both its detail and scale.
There is also now enough drones to make truly complex shapes, in this case a more highly detailed bunch of roses.
Although 100 drones are enough to write simple words, 200 drones can allow for a simple phrase.
From 300 drones upwards you can look to write small sentences. In fact, even scannable QR codes are possible above 200 drones.
Absolutely, our programming software allows us to create not only 3D renders but even place it over the location you want to fly at.
This allows you to not only see your drone show design but also move around and see it from different viewing angles as your audience might.

Our drones are class leading and can easily perform over a 10-minute display packed full of creative elements.
The complete show itself may then be up to 12-13 minutes once we've included the take-off and landing elements. In fact, we have some creative ways to make this part of the show as well to maximise your audience engagement.
